December 05/January 06 Scoutmaster's Minute:

Happy holiday’s to all.

I hope that some of you if not all took time this holiday to reflect on the true meaning of the holiday. I know I did. We all get caught up in the excitement and the running from store to store to find that “perfect gift”.

We just do not realize that the perfect gift does not always come wrapped in bright colored paper with ribbons and bows.

Just something to think about.

As we begin the New Year I look forward to making things better in the troop. We are looking for new leadership, merit badges and fun events. If any adult is interested in being a merit badge counselor please let me know. We could use the help.

Please join me in congratulating Brendan Murphy on obtaining the rank of Eagle. Please be sure to try to attend his Court of Honor on January 6th. I would also like to recognize Alex Farr for passing his Eagle Board of review and we are looking forward to his Eagle Court of Honor in March.
